Star Citizen’s Alpha 4.10 PTU appears to be expanding the list of ships and vehicles that players can buy with in-game aUEC, according to multiple community videos and forum posts.
Among the most notable changes is the replacement of the Aurora Mk1 with the Aurora Mk2 in the same dealership locations where the older starter ship was sold. The new model is described as a more capable starter ship, with better combat options and improved interior and cargo features. Players can also reportedly buy separate cargo and combat modules for the Aurora Mk2.
Other additions highlighted in the sources include the MISC Hull B, the Drake Golem OX, the Greycat UTV, and the Kruger L22 Alpha Wolf. The vehicles and ships are said to be distributed across several in-game dealerships, including Astro Armada in Area18, New Deal on Hurston, and locations in Pyro.
The reported aUEC prices vary widely. One source cites the Aurora Mk2 at 900,000 aUEC, the Drake Golem OX at 1.1 million aUEC, the Kruger L22 Wolf at 4.5 million aUEC, and the MISC Hull B at 7.5 million aUEC. The Greycat UTV is also mentioned as a lower-cost option, with one listing shown at 75,600 aUEC.
The changes also come with some ship turnover. The Aurora Mk1 has been removed from shops, which lines up with earlier announced limits on its pledge availability. Players who already own the ship can reportedly continue using it until the next wipe or the game’s official 1.0 release.
Taken together, the PTU update seems aimed at broadening the range of accessible ships and ground vehicles for players who want to earn their fleet in-game rather than buy it outright.
