(Thursday) We are currently putting together a new 4.2.1 build for a potential Wave 3 PTU later today with further Wikelo, Exec Ship Component, and Security Forces updates.

Gameplay

  • Wikelo Recipe Updates
    • No more random rewards
    • All collector rewards will become deterministic, meaning you’ll know what you are going to get when accepting a mission.
  • Greenzone Security Re-Activation
    • Greenzone security around Stanton Space Stations has been re-activated in 4.2.1. This includes a complete re-balance of security forces with escalating response to accumulated crimerates in the area.
  • Further Refining Improvements
    • Cost Reduction for most goods in regards to Refining Cost. Removal of Discard Cost to Refining.
  • Resource Gathering Mission, Bugfixing, and Corporation Branding Polish
  • FPS Mining Beam Brightness has Been Slightly Reduced
  • Added chance of new Small Pure Carinite FPS minable in the Hathor Site cave
  • 2 Handed Carryables are now thrown up with the player takedowns instead of dropped

Ships and Vehicles

  • Executive Ship Component Loadouts have been reverted to previous higher-tier versions
  • Greatly Reduced Incorrectly High Idris Turret Health
  • Updated base Valkyrie to have the new Doors and Door Panels from the Asgard

Weapons and Items

  • New FPS Weapon: VOLT Pistol (Weapon lootable and in AC. Ammo added today into shops)
  • The 5 Qualities of Valakkar Pearls now have separate names so players can identify the Quaility

Bug Fixes

  • Potential Fix: Multivehicle - PU - Vehicles / Turret - ships with power set to weapons in capacitor do not update until another shot or turret is powered off and back on for full ammo capacity and recharge rate (STARC-172154)
  • Potential Fix: PU - Stanton - Resource Gathering - Mission / UI / mobiGlas - Resource Drive contract name overlaps the number of contract available (STARC-172648)
  • Potential Fix: PU - Ship Battles V1 - Patrol / Ambush - Mission Feature / Mission Refactor - Mission does not progress after destroying targets (STARC-165141)
  • Potential Fix: MultiVehicle - PU/AC - UI - Missile Lock variables behave erratically
  • Potential Fix: PU - Stanton - Resource Gathering - Open delivery - Mission Content / Cargo - Materials submitted toward resource drive goal are inconsistently counted toward SCU score (STARC-172704)
  • Potential Fix: PU - Storm Breaker - Pyro - Creatures / Mission Content - Creatures aren’t spawning once egg has been taken
  • Potential Fix: PU - Creatures - Apex Valakkar/ Audio - Apex audio cuts out for a few seconds

    • Increased health and damage output of size 10 station defenses. Made improvements to the way they take damage to ensure the weapon never stops firing before the base is destroyed and will now delete the weapons on destruction.
    • To prevent uninvited players getting aboard docked ships (technically any ship near enough a station) we now teleport trespassing players out of ships they don’t own (unless in party with owner) when within 5km of an ATC with teleport points.

Ships and Vehicles

  • Ship Flight Tuning Changes

    • Heavy Fighters & Interceptors:
      • Minor rebalance and a general increase in maximum angular speed, providing improved maneuverability across all ships in these categories.
    • Medium Fighters & Interceptors:
      • A comprehensive tuning pass has been applied to Medium Fighters to deliver more distinct flight characteristics per ship.
      • Alien ships such as the Glaive, Scythe, San’tok.yāi, and Reliant variants are included.
      • Key adjustments focus on:
        • Angular rotation max speeds
        • Angular accelerations
        • Linear acceleration (Gs)
        • SCM speeds
    • Gun Boats and other medium-size ships:
      • Several ships in this class have received updates aimed at refining flight dynamics, including:
        • Angular rotation speed
        • Linear acceleration (Gs)
        • SCM and NAV top speeds
    • Other aspects of some of the ships in all the categories mentioned have been addressed:
      • Mercury Star Runner:
        • Increased Quantum Fuel capacity for extended travel range
        • Slight buff to critical health hardpoints
        • Retains previously boosted top speeds
      • Ares Inferno:
        • SF7B Gatling spread got reduced for improved weapon accuracy.
      • 400i:
        • Added an additional S2 Powerplant and Cooler back to the default loadout
  • Other Ship Updates

    • Salvage Balance: Reduced Reclaimer Hull Scraping Efficiency and increased Vulture and Fortune Efficiency

This mission type comes in 6 difficulty levels under the Foxwell group in both Stanton and Pyro and awards Scrip upon completion.
