On tonight’s 4.0.2 PTU we want to run a stress test for the first hour with everyone who is able to spawning at Area18 to stress test the transit and hangar flow.

  • Tonight’s build has further updates for Transit Carriages opening into Incorrect Zones and causing voids.
  • Further Entity Cleanup work has been done to help stop certain entities, such as ships, getting cleaned up when they shouldn’t be.
  • Pyro missions for CFP/HH should be not sharable without having sufficient reputation. In Stanton this does not apply.

  • Potential Fix: PU - Stanton - Missions - Mission Content / Enemy AI / HUD / UI - The mission “URGENT: Boarding Action In Progress” does not complete sometimes despite eliminating all enemy AI (STARC-156487)
  • Potential Fix: PU - Pyro - Jump Points - Locations / Spacescaping - Asteroids that surround the Stanton Gateway can be seen inside the Jump Tunnel and occasionally can cause fatal collisions when exiting the Jump Tunnel (STARC-138352)
  • Potential Fix: Multivehicle - PU - Audio / Vehicles / Locations - Ship engine and weapon audio missing after spawning in hangar and flying out (STARC-153799)
  • Potential Fix: PU - UI / mobiGlas / Map - Starmap search bar only searches after a character is entered then deleted in search field (STARC-112111)
  • Potential Fix: MISC Prospector - PU - Vehicles / Mining / UI - When cargo capacity is full the HUD displays the string @HUD_MINING_CARGO_FULL
  • Potential Fix: PU - Stanton - Missions - NPE / Tutorial - Storing the Tutorial ship at Spaceport ASOP before entering Hangar blocks ‘Your First Flight’ flow

  • Potential Fix: PU - Firesale / Yard Rush - Missions - Event mission payout amounts displayed to not match expected values

(Friday) We currently have a 4.0.2 build cooking for a potential PTU release later today with a 1 hour Area18 stress test for transit as soon as we go out
For the weekend, we are looking to get more mission completions for the Supply or Die event. If you are able to, run through the missions and we will be looking through all the data on Sunday!

4.0.2 PTU info - SC-Testing-Chat - Wakapedia-CIG:

  • We have some further changes to transit going into today’s PTU build for more self healing carriages and code cleanup. For the 1st hour after the build goes out (no eta) we are looking to run another stress test in Area18 for transit and hangar flow to gather extra logging put into the build.
  • 3 more ships should be making their way into the PU ship shops in today’s PTU build, one of them will be at Area18

  • Potential Fix: PU - Stanton - ASOP / Locations - Personal Hangar - Retrieving a ship results in “We are unable to deal with your request at this time” but does not timeout fail (STARC-140959)
  • Potential Fix: PU - Stanton - Derelict Settlements - Locations / AI - Social AI - NPCs can walk into the fire pit causing them to take damage and sometimes die (tweaks to hazard volume sizes and navigation exclusion zones)
  • Potential Fix: PU - Pyro - Firesale - Depots - Locations / Freight Elevators - Commodity can disappear during transfer in the Freight Elevator
  • Potential Fix: PU - Pyro - Firesale - Depots - Prospect Depot Locations / Shopping - One of the commodity shop terminals is not working
  • Potential Fix: The Gladius is constantly playing the “ship pass-by” audio when viewed from a third party

  • Potential Fix: PU - Stanton - Instanced Hangars - Ships / Vehicles / Game Code / Locations - Instanced/Staging Hangars are not Force Storing/Closing correctly when the Player Leaves via Elevator
    • This fix may also affect other hangar stowing issues that have been occurring such as ships getting stuck in hangar when another is called and ships getting in an unstowed state when disconnecting in various ways while it is in the hangar
  • Potential Fix: AI Defense Area is breaking and causing issues with AI attacking during the Destroy Supply Lines Event Mission
