Stop Wasting Time In Star Citizen - Tips & Tricks!

Void Dude shares helpful tips and tricks in this video to help players save time in Star Citizen. The tips include inventory management, efficient travel methods, using MFD screens, and participating in the free fly event.

Star Citizen is a complex game with many tasks that can be time-consuming. In this video, Void Dude shares several tips and tricks to help players save time in the game. One tip is to filter the inventory you’re sending items to, which clears the panel and allows for faster dragging and dropping. Another tip is to start from the bottom when moving items between inventories to prevent items from refreshing every time something moves out of position.

When at a station and about to request your ship, pressing elevator buttons before using the sub-terminal can make the elevator arrive faster, saving time. Similarly, requesting permission to leave with your mobi glass ahead of time when your ship is in a hangar prevents waiting for the hangar doors to open. For more efficient travel to planetary systems, it’s suggested to clear your navigation and cancel quantum travel just before arriving. This gives you a better sense of where things are and reduces the chances of a planet blocking your destination.

In situations where you cannot directly quantum travel to your destination, finding an orbital marker in the general direction and beyond your destination can help. By quantum traveling there and canceling at the right moment, you can shave off hundreds of kilometers from your journey. To avoid crashing into obstacles or parts of the station when the star is on the other side of a nearby planet, using the ping function in scanning mode briefly highlights obstacles in your path, providing context to your surroundings.

It’s also mentioned that players can focus on a ship’s MFD screen by holding F and clicking the middle mouse button, making it easier to scroll through items without constantly zooming in and out. Accessing air traffic control on any of your ship’s MFDs is faster than using the mobi glass and can also be used to hail other players. Finally, Void Dude shares a referral code and encourages viewers to participate in the current free fly event in Star Citizen, which coincides with the in-game event, Jumptown 2.0.

By using these tips and taking advantage of the free fly event, players can save time and experience the exciting gameplay that Star Citizen has to offer.
