In the Star Citizen Lost Generation #4 - The Heist episode, Tonya plans and executes a heist on Nebula Bank’s affiliate, Public Reclamations, to retrieve Hartley’s repossessed artifacts, including an original copy of the Janus Drive - Artemis’s AI. After a successful heist, she proceeds to examine the reclaimed items, taking precautions against the AI Janus.
In this episode, Tonya strives to acquire artifacts from Nebula Bank, which Hartley infers has become ruthlessly firm due to its financial strides over the decades. Hartley, who clearly loves his museum, fears that he may lose it due to a missed payment for a loan acquired from the bank. He highlights his museum’s unique bond with Nebula as a “legacy client.” Tonya empathizes with Hartley and promises to find a solution to his financial problem, despite the subtle hints that the bank’s infrastructure might be too heavily secured to be breached.
In the bank, Tonya observes their counter-intrusion devices and other security measures, and scans through the bank’s internal systems, which are on a complicated but mostly open-source Kraken network. She also learns about the bank’s sky-high service charges from a sales pitch by a bank employee and collects more data.
On further investigation, Tonya discovers that Nebula Bank has shares in a company called “Public Reclamations,” a storage facility that holds repossessed and estate holdings. When Hartley’s case number brings up a result showing that six of his crates are held in this warehouse, Tonya revives her plan of aiding him.
Breaking into the warehouse, Tonya places images in front of security cameras to trick the system and buys some time. She swiftly locates and removes Hartley’s collection, which includes an original copy of the Janus Drive — Artemis’s AI. Tanya then manages to escape unnoticed, leaving a very confused sales rep behind.
Finally, safely aboard the Beacon 2, Tonya sets her course to identify the contents of the crates, while taking adequate measures to ensure Janus doesn’t overrun her flight computer. The video ends with a promotion for Toby eye tracker 5 and an appeal from the host to support the channel.
