Star Citizen patch 4.3.2 introduces functional external elevators, revamped salvage and crafting systems, new weapons and ships, and enhanced PvP features, while advancing the Pyro storyline with new missions and gameplay elements like medbeds in bunkers. These updates lay the groundwork for upcoming content, including the Nyx system expansion, new alien species, and expanded salvage and crafting mechanics.
The Star Citizen 4.3.2 patch introduces several notable gameplay and quality-of-life improvements, starting with the activation of external freight elevators in the Pyro system. Although cargo cannot yet be transported on these elevators, their operability hints at upcoming interstellar hauling missions, aligning with the forthcoming Nyx system expansion. Additionally, the security office in Lurville is now open, potentially introducing reputation-locked access and signaling the removal of weapons from certain shops to enhance gameplay balance.
PvP improvements include the removal of a cargo duplication exploit at Dupri, making the economy more stable. Party members’ names now appear green on the HUD, preventing Player Defense Cannons (PDCs) from targeting allies, which is a welcome change for group play. Onyx facilities have received new FPS AI turrets and a hidden cave featuring the new “your Mandy” creature and destructible environment elements, adding fresh combat challenges and exploration opportunities.
Several new weapons and ships have been added, including the Prowler utility ship available exclusively through Wiccolo’s Emporium using unique in-game currency tied to the “your Mandy” creature. Weapon updates include damage buffs to several firearms like the Ascav sniper and Ripper SMG, as well as the addition of new scopes and utility items such as binoculars and rangefinders. The Drake Herald’s radar panels are now deployable, and missile turret options for the RSI Scorpius have been introduced, enhancing solo play capabilities.
The patch brings significant salvage and crafting-related updates, including the introduction of refining structural salvage materials and different types of raw salvage materials with varying refining times and yields. The Reclaimer ship received improvements such as a larger back hatch and station docking capability, enabling players to refine materials directly at space stations without unloading cargo manually. These changes pave the way for future crafting mechanics and new salvage ships, potentially including refueling and towing features expected in 2026.
Lastly, the ongoing Pyro storyline event continues with multi-week missions where players can side with factions like the CFP or Headhunters. New gameplay elements include medbed functionality in bunkers, though respawning is not yet operational, and the presence of NPC cops in bunkers. Three new ships debuted: the Anvil Paladin, Gray’s Market Shiv, and the alien VanDuel Stinger, which ties into the upcoming Nyx system launch. Nyx will introduce new alien species and locations, though initially only the planet Levki will be available. Overall, 4.3.2 sets the stage for exciting future content and gameplay depth.
