Star Citizen: Mirai Fury & MX/ 1st impressions/ Buyer's guide/ Concept sale/ Theory crafting

The Fury and Fury MX are small snub fighters manufactured by Mirai, a sub-label of MISC specializing in building performance ships. Both variants have the same components, with an innovative engine design allowing it to hover in place with powerful lateral acceleration. The Fury has 4 size 2 missiles and 4 size 2 weapon hardpoints, while the Fury MX has 11 size 2 missiles and 8 size 1 missiles, plus a blast shield for the flight deck. There are downsides to the Fury, such as the paper thin hull. It is dependent on a mother craft due to its micro-sized fuel tank.

The Fury is incredibly maneuverable and a lot of fun to fly, allowing it to be used as a small scout, or even a miniature Liberator. It could be used to explore derelicts, navigate large caves, or traverse through a large series of underground tunnels. It can be used to defend a base, as a mobile missile turret.

Comparisons have been made to various sci-fi ships such as the TIE Interceptor, Jill Valentine’s ship from Cowboy Bebop and even a submersible from The Abyss. The Fury is an inspiring piece of technology that enhances the Star Citizen Universe, and encourages further development of the game, such as sand worms, still suits and arnithopters.
