Star Citizen 4.10.3 PTU Opens Vanduul Incursion Contracts in Nyx

Star Citizen Alpha 4.10.3’s Public Test Universe build has introduced the Vanduul Incursion contract line, pitting players against Vanduul forces and the Shattered Blade clan in deep-space encounters around the Nyx system.

The contracts are offered by Intersec Defense Solutions and are designed for experienced pilots and ground teams. Cloud Imperium Games said the missions take place away from established locations and can feature Vanduul ships including Blades, Glaives, Scythes and Stingers.

The mission set spans ship combat and first-person objectives. Reported activities include pursuing Vanduul targets, clearing hostile forces, reclaiming boarded vessels and surviving waves of enemy ships. Some higher-difficulty contracts are intended for groups, while a listed rank-three assassination mission calls for a small fleet of capable pilots.

Access to much of the contract line on the live service will require players to first complete Vanduul Tech Smugglers work connected to Welcome to Nyx, according to CIG. That prerequisite has been lifted for the PTU testing period so testers can access all of the contracts.

Mission data for one Nyx assassination contract lists Intersec reputation rewards and a chance to earn a blueprint from a pool that includes R97 shotgun components and Monde armor pieces. Community reports also point to additional equipment, armor and ship-weapon blueprints being available through the wider mission line.

Testing coverage has described Vanduul cryopods as collectible items found among Nyx points of interest, though their variants and values have not been detailed in CIG’s feedback post. Reports have also identified a new Scarnov electron rifle and a possible Vanduul Hunter Corvette in higher-level encounters; those details should be treated as provisional while the patch remains in testing.

CIG has opened a feedback survey for the Vanduul Incursion PTU test, with submissions accepted through November 15. As with other PTU features, mission balance, rewards and availability may change before the content reaches the live game.
