Characters in this new environment have been built from Long Term Persistence(LTP) data.
Currently with LTP, certain player states such as personal hangar layout, custom characters, and in-game purchased consumables are not saved between releases which will cause some items to be lost in the next update.
Items not saved to LTP Include:
- Hangar Decoration Customizations (Decorations will be returned to playerâs home location inventory)
- Medpens, Ammo, Ongoing Rentals and Refinery Jobs, and Character Customization (Make sure to Export your Custom Character)

[Evocati Playtest] Star Citizen Alpha 4.0 Playtest #8
Tonight on the EPTU channel we will be running another Evocati only playtest with SC Alpha 4.0! Our goal is to continue to leave the build up on EPTU.
For todayâs test, Evocati will be fully allowed to show off this build, so you will be allowed to stream, make videos, and share screenshots of this test!
This current test will focus fully on 4.0 with and will include a 4 DGS server mesh starting with 380 player count per shard and 2 servers per solar system.
This will be a temporary Mesh configuration. Weâre aiming to encourage zone transitions and monitor performance with additional tuning for these initial tests and will continue to increase it as we move through PTU.
