MOTD Update

:jack_o_lantern:(Tysdagr) We are currently putting together a new 4.0 build for a timed Evocati playtest later today. Goal is to leave the build up longer and overnight.

ETF-testing-chat | Wakapedia-CIG: Should be resolved in today’s 4.0 test:

Fixed - PU - Stanton / Pyro - Jump Points / Vehicles - Upon exiting Jump Point, player vehicle is launched at high velocity with player unable to slow before collision with objects

45min to new Evo build according to Waka. “loads of new loadouts and animations for NPCs in Orison and New Babbage so there’s a possibility one of those broke it but we’ll find out tomorrow”

Updates Since Previous Test

  • Replaced old NPC behaviors with newly updated animations and loadouts in New Babbage and Orison
  • Included missing contested zones content

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed - PU - Stanton / Pyro - Jump Points / Vehicles - Upon exiting Jump Point, player vehicle is launched at high velocity with player unable to slow before collision with objects
  • Fixed - PU - Pyro - AI / AI Animation - AI is unresponsive to player action and enters a default T-pose when attacked
  • Fixed - PU - Pyro - Derelict Outposts - AI / Design / Locations - AI are Idle at Occupied Derelict Outpost
  • Fixed - PU - Game Code / Network - Jump Points - After recovering from a client crash near the end of a jump point, the player can recover in a state where they are stuck looping in and out of the jump point

  • Fixed - PU - Pyro - Contested Zones (CZ) - Orbituary Station - AI / Design - AI are failing to leave spawn closets in Orbituary Contested Zone
  • Fixed - PU - Pyro - Pyro-Stanton Jump Point Station - ATC does not assign hangar and is displayed as “Magnus Gateway” in Comms app
  • Fixed - PU - Pyro - PYR3 LEO - Rundown Station - Orbituary - Art / Visarea / Locations - Cargo elevator cabin has a visarea issue on the Cargo Deck floor
  • Fixed - PU - Stanton - Multiple Locations - Locations - Personal Hangar - ASOP / Vehicles / Ships - It’s possible to spawn multiple ships in one hangar
  • Fixed - SC - Audio-SFX - “No water SFX in water pools”

:jack_o_lantern:(Álfblót) Goals for the Day - We are currently putting together 2 builds

  1. We are working on a new 3.24.2a build for an all waves PTU tonight and through the weekend. This build encompasses all the hotfixes done to LIVE along with dozens of other crash and bug fixes that were not hotfixable. We are intending this to go onto LIVE early next week.
  2. We are building a new 4.0 build for further Evocati testing later today.
3.24.3 will be taken offline for the weekend while we run 3.24.2a```
Since going to LIVE with 3.24.2 we've done approximately 24 hotfixes onto the servers and hybrids 
 

Build today will have all those fixes + further that weren't hotfixable

3.24.2a combines all the current hotfixes on LIVE along with many new stability fixes and upcoming Save Stanton Updates
We are planning on running this build throughout the weekend on PTU with the goal to send it to LIVE early next week

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed - PU - Stanton - ASOP / Locations - Personal Hangar - Retrieving a ship results in “We are unable to deal with your request at this time” and no ship : TimeOut Fail (STARC-129836)
  • Fixed - PU - Locations - Majority of transit managers can stop functioning for a given shard for hours with no Entity Graph lag present (STARC-133703)
  • Fixed - PU - Interaction / ASOP / Server Recover - A Player interacts with an ASOP while a server error occurs can block this kiosk from being interacted with by another player (STARC-73038)
  • Fixed - Multivehicle - PU - Vehicles / Vehicle Components - Quantum Drives - Cannot initiate quantum jump (STARC-131460)
  • Fixed - PU - Hauling Missions - Hauling missions give full reward without delivering all cargo when the “Submit” button is pressed (STARC-120213)
  • Fixed - PU - Stanton - Actor / Health - Audio / SFX - Medical / Respawn - Permanent Incapacitated Audio loop after respawning (STARC-121829)
  • Fixed - Controls - Pilot / Co-pilot / Gunner - Vehicles - RSI Zeus ALL VARIANTS - PU - When a player is in the co-pilot or gunner seat, the player in the pilot seat will not be able to swap between SCM and NAV modes
  • Fixed - PU - Transit - Transit appear to be failing to stream back in after being streamed out
  • Fixed - AC - Spawning not possible after rejoining lobby (STARC-130221)
  • Save Stanton - Fixed - PU - Stanton - Phase 1 - Mission Content - After accepting the Cargo Recovery mission the “Locate the Missing Ship” objective can complete itself and remove the QT marker before player reaches the mission location
  • Save Stanton - Fixed - PU - Stanton - Phase 1 - Locations / Mission Content / Cargo / Freight Elevators - Resources deposited through the freight elevator go directly to inventory instead of towards mission
  • Save Stanton - Fixed - PU - Stanton - Phase 1 / 3 - Players receive additional duplicate objectives when another player accepts the same mission.
  • Save Stanton - Fixed - PU - Stanton - Phase 2 - Mission B - Subsequent “Sabotage Gang Operation” missions are not appearing after completing the first one

New 4.0 build just went out to Evos. Patch notes aren’t very special, just some crash fixes and bugfixes for some issues
