Star Citizen Alpha 3.24.3 PTU.9410828 Patch Notes

Testing/Feedback Focus

  • IAE Halls
  • New Global Event: Save Stanton Phases 1-5 running Saturday/Sunday
  • New Vehicle: Starlancer Max
  • New Vehicle: Polaris - The Captain’s Quarters will be locked on initial 3.24.3 release as it’s still undergoing iteration (more details will be provided in the upcoming Polaris Q&A). The rest of the ship, however, is ready for testing.

Gameplay

  • Starmap Objectives Panel Polish
    • Added buttons to view accepted/tracked contracts in contract manager. You can now track and untrack accepted contracts from starmap, and clicking on tracked objective in the list focuses on the marker.

Ships and Vehicles

  • Added New Ship: RSI Polaris
  • Added New Ship: MISC Starlancer Max
  • Vehicle MFDs: Improved layout on target status screen to reduce overlaps
  • Reduced Brightness of Starfarer Annunicator Panel Origin Rays

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed - PU - Multi-System - Turrets - Station Defenses Don’t Respond to Aggression in Armistice STARC-122638
  • Fixed - PU - ASOP Terminal / UI - When accessing an ASOP Terminal, there is a chance the user will be instantly kicked out of the interface
  • Fixed - Nomad - PU - Vehicles / Art - There is a Portal / VisArea issue at the entrance of the Nomad STARC-136953
  • Fixed - Esperia Prowler - PU - Vehicles / GFX - VisArea / Lighting - Several parts of the exterior ship are unlit by the environment
  • Fixed - Drake Corsair - PU - Vehicles / UI - Side turret HUD is incorrect

Technical

This build has further stability improvements to help reduce server stalls.

New halls will rotate in every 5 hours

  • RSI Polaris Polish Pass
    • Polaris collision and animation physics optimizations.
    • Animation Sound Effects Polish.
    • Greatly increased the hydrogen fuel tank holds.
    • Bespoke Guns: Fully locked down the hardpoint, added a custom locked down gimbal, includes the changes to the PDC radar priority.
    • Updated and tuned RSI bespoke ballistic cannon ammo and cannon.
    • Cannon is now 50 RPM with high armor penetration, Moderate ballistic damage and implemented simple overheat mechanics.
    • Increased VFX size of bullet trajectory to match large turrets.
  • Starlancer MAX Polish
    • Detachable Components Health Pass. Updated LODs for Thrusters.
  • Added PDC Radar Access for Phoenix, 890Jump, and Polaris
  • Vehicle Ramp Proximity Detection Polish

We also have some PDC changes today that will change things a tiny bit so going to be testing those out in the PTU today after the new build
