Incoming Wikelo Changes
Hi everyone,
We’ve been actively reading and looking to address some of the feedback surrounding Wikelo.
The experience we intended was for you to deliver a suite of items as part of the patch content and receive physical rewards instead of just credits. The premise was that Wikelo would check his stock and then give you something he had in return for your delivery - but the execution of this idea is something we want to improve. We’re always looking at the community feedback and based on what we have read so far, we have identified some key areas for improving the experience. So for 4.2.1 (coming to PTU soon), we’ve made the following changes:
No More Random Rewards
All collector rewards will become deterministic, meaning you’ll know what you are going to get when accepting a mission. All existing Wikelo contracts will be updated to reflect this change.
Separate Contract Tabs in the mobiGlas
Until we implement the ability to offer missions from a specific location (more on this below), we are splitting the Wikelo missions out of the collector into the following:
-
A. Wikelo - Vehicles
- ATLS
- Ground Vehicles
- Spaceships
-
B. Wikelo - Other Items
- Armor
- Weapons
- And more
We’re also working on other ways to improve the Wikelo experience — not for 4.2.1, but in future updates:
- Ability to submit multiple items in a singular container, i.e. I put all my items in a 1SCU box for delivery.
- We also want to make sure Wikelo missions are split between global mobiGlas contracts and on-site contracts that you can pick up when you are there — the banners in his shop will serve as your physical contract acceptance points.
- Wikelo has three locations across Stanton. Our goal is to let you submit any mission you pick up at any of these spots — including turning in some items at one location and the rest at another.
- Instead of having a separate contract for each favour, we want to have one contract that tells you to submit X of Y or X of Z.
We’ll continue to tweak things until they feel right, and we’re looking forward to your feedback!
