Star Citizen’s weekly shows, Inside Star Citizen and Star Citizen Live, are taking an additional week off and are set to return on February 1st and 2nd. However, the scheduling of Inside Star Citizen is changing this year. It will continue until the release of version 3.23, taking breaks between major patch releases. This change allows for more shows and avoids cutting away right before a patch release.

This week, the law team will be sharing a portfolio post about Pyrot Technic Amalgamated, the company responsible for the discovery of the Pyro system. The post was originally featured in a previous jump point. Additionally, the RSI newsletter will be released on Friday. The next Roadmap update, which will include the planned features for version 3.23, is expected to be released on February 7th. The delay in the update is due to the integration of Squadron 42 developers into the Persistent Universe teams, requiring additional work to allocate tasks and finalize the schedule.

The team is currently hard at work on the next major update, version 3.23, and will be sharing more details about it soon. As for version 3.22, there have been several hotfix patches focused on improving the stability of the Siege of Orison and the Persistent Universe. The release of these patches is eagerly anticipated, as the stability in the Persistent Universe has been significantly impacted, making it more challenging to play.

There was a recent patch on January 17th that tested both the replication layer split and server crash recovery, which is a positive development. While it is uncertain when this will be released, it is expected to arrive in a patch sometime in February. The ongoing work on hotfixes, testing, and the development of version 3.23 will continue throughout February and into the end of March.
