In the latest update of Star Citizen, the Repel Raid mission has returned with a twist. It is set on new platforms located within the clouds of the gas giant Crusader. The narrator and their colleague start their day with a mission to remove toxic waste from a drug lab near a criminal bunker. They find themselves accompanied by another player and successfully complete the mission without any conflict. They then embark on a journey to explore the new Orison platforms, but first they have to complete an entry level bunker mission for Crusader security on Dema. With some difficulty in navigation, they finally reach the new platforms and find them to be expansive and worth further exploration.

The narrator’s team encounters some inconsistencies and bugs along the way, such as inventory issues and difficulties with vehicle handling. Despite these challenges, they push forward and manage to land safely on the platforms. In the midst of a mission to clear out enemy forces, they encounter some unexpected behavior, such as enemies seemingly trapped in the walls of the buildings. They try different approaches, including using melee attacks and tweaking objects, but are unable to reach the trapped enemies. Their first attempt at the mission is ultimately unsuccessful.

Undeterred, they make a fresh landing on the platforms and have a more successful experience. They encounter AI enemies that respond well and provide a challenging gameplay experience. The narrator appreciates the addition of these new platforms and the return of the Repel Raid mission. They express their excitement to further explore the missions and discover if there are more platforms or locations within the gas giant’s clouds for these missions. The narrator extends their gratitude towards the viewers and patrons who support their content.
