Mega-ships on the move | QoL in Star Citizen | Hello Dave 305

In Elite Dangerous, the rescue mega ships have been relocated closer to conflict zones, making rescue missions more profitable and shorter for players. In Star Citizen, the Drake Corsair is now available for players to fly for free, and a recent patch has introduced mission changes and quality of life improvements, including fixes for aiming reticle alignment and Mobi glass readability, as well as the introduction of persistent settings for multi-function displays (MFDs). Additionally, Star Citizen now supports HDR for players with HDR capable monitors, and content creator Hello Dave will be live streaming Starfield on YouTube tomorrow at 7 PM GMT.

In Star Citizen, the rescue mega ships have been relocated closer to the conflict zones in two batches. The first half of the mega ships stopped offering missions on September 7th, while the second half will stop on September 14th. This move makes rescue missions more profitable and shorter in distance for players, potentially increasing their earning potential.

Moving on to Star Citizen, the winner of the ship Showdown was the Drake Corsair. As a result, the Corsair is now available for players to fly for free until the end of September, provided they have a game package. Additionally, a PTU patch was released, introducing mission changes and quality of life improvements. Notably, the alignment issue between the aiming reticle and quantum aiming marker on some ships has been fixed. The MobiGlass background has also been darkened to improve readability of the text, even with a bright background.

In terms of cockpit displays, the multi-function displays (MFDs) are now persistent with the release of patch 3.2. This means that the MFDs will retain their settings even if the ship is stored, eliminating the need for players to reconfigure the displays after recalling their ships. However, if the ship is destroyed and replaced through the insurance program, the MFDs will be reset and require reconfiguration.

As a bonus for players with HDR capable monitors, Star Citizen now supports HDR, allowing for an improved visual experience. Finally, the content creator, Hello Dave, announced that he will be live streaming Starfield, a game he has been enjoying, tomorrow at 7 PM GMT. While he will avoid major spoilers, he will focus on side content to provide an enjoyable viewing experience for those interested in the game. The live stream will be hosted on YouTube.
