Literally TOXIC Atmosphere at new Hurston JUMPTOWN - Star Citizen 3.22 EPTU Gameplay

In the Star Citizen 3.22 update, the narrator explores a new Jumptown facility on Hurston, encounters toxic air that induces disorientation, and tests the game’s updated recoil and weapon systems. Back in Lorville, the narrator tries an air filtration helmet that fails to protect against the pollution, and concludes with plans to visit more new locations and expressing thanks to viewers and supporters.

In the latest update for Star Citizen 3.22, new locations have been introduced for the Jumptown event, including drug production facilities on planets like Daymar, MicroTech, Waller, and Hurston. The narrator explores the Hurston facility, which is situated on an island, and decides to approach on foot due to the presence of other ships. The environment of the island is distinctly different and pleasantly diverse compared to the previous Jumptown locations, featuring cool terrain with tight rock formations.

Upon reaching the Hurston Jumptown facility, the narrator initially finds the outside quiet with signs of other ships landed. Inside, they discover drugs in the airlock and larger ammo boxes to loot, suggesting no immediate threats. They continue to explore the geography of the island, considering the benefits of gaining a higher vantage point while being cautious of the surroundings.

The narrator encounters an unexpected hazard when removing their helmet to get a better look at the island; they experience disorientation similar to being drunk. After companions FL and the narrator both suffer similar symptoms, they speculate that the air might contain fumes, possibly intentional to align with Hurston’s lore as a planet damaged by pollution and weapons testing. They spend some time engaging in target practice on the ground ships, testing out the game’s new recoil system and weapon updates.

Back in Lorville, Hurston’s main city, the narrator experiments with a “Ready Up” helmet, a low-cost air filtration device worn by the city’s denizens to cope with the polluted air. This device, however, proves to be ineffective against the toxic atmosphere when the narrator steps out onto a balcony, prompting a tongue-in-cheek criticism of the alleged misconception sold to the citizens by in-game vendors.

The video concludes with the promise of exploring more new locations on Hurston and MicroTech during their stay. The narrator also expresses gratitude to viewers and Patreon supporters, giving special thanks to a supporter named Dave for his contribution. The next installment is expected to showcase the new sites that players can explore in Star Citizen’s 3.22 update.
