In this episode of “Life Aboard a Reclaimer,” the crew attempts to fit an Aurai Fury ship into the cargo bay of their Reclaimer. After some trial and error, they find that extending the wings in flight mode allows the Fury to fit through the cargo bay door. However, maneuvering the ship with the small tractor beam proves to be a challenge. They eventually give up on fitting the Fury and move on to respond to a combat beacon.
On their way to the combat beacon, the crew faces an unfortunate accident when another ship crashes into them. This results in them receiving a crime stat 3 and a bounty on their heads. To clear the crime stat, they consider going to Korea or going to jail, but ultimately decide to turn themselves in at Hurston to avoid risking the ship. They successfully clear the crime stat and continue their journey.
The crew then arrives at the wake of a disaster, an open salvage contract where they clean up the remnants of a battle. They encounter some ships, but no hostile players. They salvage at a relaxed pace, testing out scrapers and searching for valuable cargo. They find some cargo, but scraping proves to be challenging.
After salvaging smaller ships, they finally come across a Reclaimer wreck. They salvage the wreck and fill up their cargo bay. They then head back to Microtech and sell their haul, making a total of 4.1 million credits. The crew reflects on their experience aboard the Reclaimer and plans to share their thoughts and ideas for improving the ship in a future video.
The crew expresses gratitude to their viewers and patrons for their support, and especially thanks Starbuck for becoming a new patron. They conclude by promising more content from the crew of the Reunion Rail in the future.
