They witness the celestial soul, their ship, get bombarded by missiles and fires. Despite attempts to fall back, the ship is inescapably damaged. The raccoons salvage some hope and continue with their objective of infiltrating Jumptown.
The raccoons test and utilize the Dragonfly vehicles for covert insertion into Jumptown. They experiment with different altitudes and speeds to determine the vehicle’s effectiveness and stealth capabilities. They also test the PTV, a more discreet vehicle with low infrared emissions, suitable for ground-based operations. The raccoons find that they can drop the PTV from the celestial soul in motion, allowing for potential insertion from orbit.
During the gemtown event, the rebel raccoons set up observation positions and perform sniper cover to observe and deny the area. They engage with other players and encounter various enemy ships, including a Hurricane, Hammerhead, and Cutlass. The raccoons successfully eliminate intruders and engage in combat, but their plans to collect drugs for themselves are thwarted by enemy attacks.
