In this episode of Life in Pyro part 3, the video starts off with the aftermath of a PvP skirmish, where the protagonist’s team emerged victorious but with one member, Aron, badly injured. They managed to steal a flying ship from one of their attackers and headed towards Checkmate station on Pyro 2. The station was known for being dangerous, but to their surprise, it was fully protected, including the clinic and the gun store. Aron received medical treatment while the protagonist explored the well-stocked gun shop. They discovered a rail gun and decided to purchase it.
With Aron secure and their new rail guns in hand, the team headed back to Monarch for more missions. They accepted an abandoned outpost run mission, unaware that it would become one of the most intense moments they had ever experienced in the game. As they approached the outpost, they noticed ships left behind from their previous encounter. Nighttime on Pyro brought a much more interesting sky than in other regions, and they found planetary exploration reminiscent of the California nebula in Elite.
The mission started with the team encountering two enemies, but the hostile count suddenly jumped to 65. They engaged in a firefight, slowly eliminating the enemies one by one. However, the firefight didn’t seem to end, and they realized that there must be more enemies hiding somewhere. After searching the outpost thoroughly, they discovered a massive cave where the remaining enemies were hiding. They pushed forward and faced wave after wave of troops, making it the most intense firefight they had ever experienced. Finally, they emerged from the cave victorious, with the sun rising over Monarch.
After the intense firefight, they moved on to other missions, but encountered a bugged mission that didn’t update properly. They decided to return to Checkmate station for further exploration and to regroup. With more Monarch sites and missions to be explored, the video ends with a teaser for part four, where they will be visiting Pyro 1 and facing more trouble. The video concludes with a gratitude message to their viewers and patrons for their continued support.
