Their first stop is Astor’s Clearing, a village located in the temperate area of the planet, surrounded by a dense forest. They encounter some lag issues and decide to land their ship outside of the forest and explore on foot. Despite getting slightly lost, they eventually find their way to the village.
Upon arrival, they realize that Astor’s Clearing is much larger than they initially thought. They explore the village and find various structures, such as a road, farming paddocks, greenhouses, and even a weapon and armor shop. However, there are no NPCs or interactable objects present in the village. They also discover hideouts and blending spots where they can go unnoticed.
While exploring, they spot other players and observe their actions to determine if they are hostile. A ship arrives and starts shooting at their ship, but they are unharmed. Eventually, they encounter other players who prove to be friendly and engage in conversations with them. They offer help and guide them to the weapon shop. Throughout their exploration, they encounter lag issues near the settlements but find Astor’s Clearing to be the most impressive of the new settlements on MicroTech.
