How to find the new Palatino Armor Set! | Star Citizen 4.3.2 PTU

The new Palatino armor set in Star Citizen 4.3.2 PTU is found in hostile distribution centers like Dupri and Greycat Industrial, where players must search for orange loot boxes in unpredictable locations amid heavy defenses. While the Palatino set is common, rarer Day Star and Necropolis pieces are scarce, requiring significant effort to collect, and players are encouraged to report any discoveries outside these known areas.

The Palatino armor set has quietly been introduced in Star Citizen 4.3.2 PTU, though it went largely unnoticed until recently. Thanks to a developer hint prompted by the community member Who’s But Why, players now know where to find this new heavy armor set. Contrary to some earlier claims, the armor is not obtained from the new worm fight but is instead located at hostile distribution centers such as Dupri and Greycat Industrial.

Hostile distribution centers (DCs) present a significant challenge due to their heavy defenses. These locations are surrounded by a wide perimeter of turrets, with additional turrets mounted on the structures themselves. Players can choose to approach cautiously using ground vehicles or take a more daring route by flying in small ships. However, the usual contracts that might guide players safely to these DCs were not generating at the time of recording, limiting safe access options.

Once inside the hostile DCs, players need to search for a new type of orange loot box that contains the Palatino armor pieces. These boxes spawn in a variety of unpredictable locations both inside and outside the mega structures, ranging from hidden spots under steps to elevated positions above stacked crates and near freight elevators. This variability marks a departure from the more predictable loot spawns seen in previous locations like Hatheror, Stormbreaker, and Onyx, making exploration more time-consuming.

The Palatino set itself is the most commonly found armor, but rarer pieces from the Day Star and Necropolis sets have also been discovered, though very infrequently. Acquiring the full black set will require significant time and effort due to the rarity of these pieces. Additionally, the torch, a notable item, is found exactly where players might expect within these hostile DCs.

The video encourages players to share any findings of the Palatino set outside the known hostile DCs, as searches at locations like Secura Sun and HDPC Farway have so far been unsuccessful. The presenter signs off by advising fellow citizens to fly safe and be cautious of bugs, hinting at ongoing challenges in navigating these new in-game areas.
