Fdev Announce TARANIS Rewards what do we get? / Elite Dangerous

“Now that the dust has settled and the echoes of the explosion fade, let’s talk about what you’re all here for: the rewards!
The fall of Taranis was a monumental achievement, and we understand that some commanders faced technical difficulties that hampered their ability to fully contribute to the war effort. Rest assured, we’re not letting those pesky (non-alien) bugs dampen the celebration! To acknowledge the unique circumstances of this event, we’re handling the rewards differently this time around.
In recognition of everyone who played a part, anyone who ventured into the Hyades Sector between Update 18 and Taranis’ fiery demise will receive a commemorative ship kit and decal. This way, even those facing technical hurdles can share in the spoils and proudly display their participation in this historic victory. Look forward to claiming these rewards this Thursday, commanders!”

Frontier Developments announced the rewards for taking part in the destruction of the first Thargoid Titan, Tyrannis, in Elite Dangerous. The victory was achieved through a galaxy-wide effort of countless commanders working together to defeat the powerful enemy. After Tyrannis fell, players are now preparing to target the next Titan on their list, Le Long. The fight against the Thargoids is far from over, with seven more Titans still posing a threat.

To acknowledge and reward all players who participated in the event, Frontier Developments is offering a commemorative ship kit and decal to anyone who ventured into the Hades sector during the specified time frame. This inclusive approach ensures that even those who faced technical difficulties can proudly display their involvement in the victory. The rewards will be distributed to all commanders on a designated day.

For future Titan destruction events, players will need to actively engage in damaging the heat core of the Titan to be eligible for rewards. Each Titan defeated will earn players increasingly prestigious ship kits and matching paint jobs, as well as unique decals. The rewards for future events will be tied to player participation and contribution to the battle against the Thargoids.

Players must have damaged the heat core of a Titan within one week prior to its meltdown to be considered an active participant in its destruction. Additionally, they need to have earned a minimum of 2 million credits from hitting the core to qualify for rewards. Other activities, such as rescuing individuals from Titan infrastructure and participating in ax base reactivations, also contribute to weakening the Titans and earning rewards.

Frontier Developments expressed gratitude to all commanders who joined forces to combat the Thargoid threat and emphasized the importance of ongoing participation in future Titan takedowns. The community’s collective effort and dedication are crucial in the ongoing battle against the Thargoids, with the next target being Le Long. The rewards system aims to incentivize players to actively engage in the fight and work together to secure humanity’s victory over the alien menace.
