Exploring the 3 Jump Point Stations in 3.21

“3.21 is moving fast in the PTU. We now have three Jump Point stations in the 'verse and their primary pupose, since there is three of them, is not simply to preview Pyro at Citizencon (though that may be happening too).”

In the 3.21 PTU Branch of Star Citizen, new features are being rapidly deployed to the general community, rather than just the evocati phase. Initially, there was a nonfunctioning station and jump tunnels at a location going to Pyro, leading to speculation that Pyro would be featured at CitizenCon. However, now there are three jump point stations, all mostly functional, indicating that there is more to this than just Pyro. The introduction of the Hull-C ship in 3.20 revealed that it could only trade at the four low orbit stations. By adding cargo loading facilities to these three jump point stations, there are now 21 port pairs available, making whole series hauling more interesting. These stations also serve as proxy points for a chain of star systems, creating a huge supply and demand for a range of goods.

The first station leads to Terra and offers a refinery deck, a cargo deck, and various shops. However, there is a bug preventing the sale of bought items. The second station, Magnus, is vertically stacked and reminiscent of Deep Space 9. It has the same shops as the other stations, except for the cassaba outlet. The supply of things to sell here is limited, mostly copper and fluorine. The final station is closer in and conveniently located between ArcCorp and its L5 points. It has a short list of commodities available for purchase.

The text also mentions the improvement in cloud technology and the beautiful work done on the gas cloud tech and the stations in general. However, there are potential bugs and changes ahead before the build goes live. The video concludes with a reminder of the ongoing IAE week ship giveaway and the secret word for this video, as well as a message to fly safe and see you in the verse.
