Elite Dangerous: AX Power Restoration & How to Find Revenants

This video guide focuses on finding AX power restore missions in Elite Dangerous, specifically those featuring Revenant Thargoid drones. The guide explains how to locate these missions, approach Thargoid settlements, engage the Revenants, power up the settlement, clear the site of enemies, and finally complete the mission.

In this video guide, the focus is on finding AX power restore missions in Elite Dangerous, specifically those that feature Revenant Thargoid drones. The first step is to locate Thargoid war Counter Strike systems on the galaxy map, identified by a purple arrow pointing to the right. Look for systems with a military economy on Inara and search for abandoned military-flavored Odyssey settlements, as these will spawn the Revenant drones and associated missions. Nearby systems in a Thargoid alert state will contain the missions, which can be found in star ports or outposts. Choose a mission that sends you to a military installation in the target system.

When arriving at the target system, it is recommended to approach the site with a fast ship and strong shields. You can choose to engage the Revenants from your ship using missiles or take a ground approach. Utilize the terrain to mask your approach and get as close as possible without being detected. The Revenants have limited eyesight, so if you go out of sight, they will start to lose interest and go back to their patrol routes. It is essential to have good equipment, such as a G3 or above rocket launcher, to one-shot the Revenants.

Upon arriving at the settlement, clear the courtyard of any Revenants so that you can move around quickly. Use the energy transfer tool on a terminal to power up the settlement, which allows you to find ammunition, energy cells, and medical packs. Be aware that killing Revenants will attract a drop ship that will deploy up to five new Revenants. The goal is to clear the site of Revenants, so you are only dealing with five at a time. Once the site is clear, you can replace the power regulator as needed.

These installations can also be used to increase combat rank significantly. By continuously killing Revenants, you can grind combat rank, although it may be a repetitive and time-consuming process. If you choose to log out at the installation, when you log back in, you will be close to one of the doors, allowing you to quickly resume combat. When it’s time to leave, clear the courtyard one last time and get as far away from the buildings as possible to call your ship. The Revenants may see your ship, but if it’s sturdy enough, it will survive their attacks. Finally, make your way to the destination to hand in the mission and complete the task.
