Anvil Paladin with a Criminal onboard - Star Citizen 4.4 Gameplay

In the video, the narrator pilots a heavily armored Anvil Paladin to Grim Hex to clear a character’s bounty by acquiring Tiger’s Claw clothing and hacking communication systems, but faces intense combat from hostile players and defensive turrets. Despite successfully completing the hack, their ship is destroyed by turrets at Sellin, resulting in a prison sentence and ending the mission prematurely, with a teaser for upcoming gameplay and personal updates from the narrator.

The video begins with the narrator revisiting Grim Hex in the Yela system of Star Citizen after some time. During a bunker mission, Vlance, a character onboard, acquires a Crime Stat 3, which requires clearing by purchasing Tiger clothes from the criminal station at Grim Hex. Despite warnings from Fenrier about hostile players at the station and Vlance being wanted, the narrator is confident that their heavily armored Anvil Paladin ship can safely make it through the dangerous approach to the station.

As they approach Grim Hex, the team prepares for potential combat, especially since the Paladin is a formidable vessel with heavy armor and numerous guns. While navigating to the hangar, the narrator, who admits to being a less experienced pilot, encounters hostile players, including one piloting a fast Wolf ship attempting to ram them. Despite the attack, they manage to enter the station safely, avoiding further pursuit. Inside, they proceed to acquire the Tiger’s Claw clothing to hack the communication and crime databases, a necessary step to clear Vlance’s bounty.

Next, the group heads to the Sellin area to disable the communication system, which would allow them to assault Korea and eliminate guards without additional criminal penalties. However, the mission proves challenging as defensive turrets launch torpedoes that prove difficult to counter. Despite their efforts to shoot down incoming torpedoes and avoid damage, the ship takes significant hits, forcing them to retreat. The hacking operation is completed successfully, but the return trip is fraught with danger as they encounter more hostile ships and turrets.

Unfortunately, the defensive turrets at Sellin prove devastating, quickly destroying their ship and resulting in the narrator and Vlance being sent to prison with a 10-minute sentence. The narrator reflects on the rapid and overwhelming power of the turrets, which ended their mission abruptly. This short video serves as a teaser, with a promise of a longer gameplay video featuring the Perseus ship coming later in the week.

In closing, the narrator shares some personal updates, including missing upcoming Star Citizen events such as the launch of engineering and VR support, explaining their decision not to accept a VR headset sponsorship. They also announce the winner of a Drake Golem giveaway and thank their patrons and supporters, especially highlighting a recent backer named Firebeam. The video ends with a promise to return soon with more Star Citizen content.
