  • Pyro Dynamic Music
    • The music system for the Persistent Universe has had a major overhaul with a new Dynamic Music system. Players will now experience many newly added scores of music and throughout the PU that are triggered and seamlessly transitioned in different situations by location, flight actions like quantum travel and jump tunnels, or combat both in FPS and in Flight.

Wakapedia-CIG: :red_circle:

Build tonight has been redlit. We are still looking at options but will most likely move this to tomorrow

We’re also internally testing fixes for RASTAR locations streaming to all clients on the server tonight. I’m hoping that will work well and make the next EPTU build!

:fallen_leaf:(Waka’s Day) We are currently cooking a new 4.0 build with many many many optimization improvements including a fix for RASTAR locations streaming to all clients on the server. Hopefully will have a much better build tonight on EPTU!

For 4.0, we have removed the “Extended View” option in the MFD screen and replaced it with a third tab which is called “Enable Advanced HUD”. That HUD however is not yet ready and is WIP so won’t show anything.

:fallen_leaf:(Thor’s Day) We are currently cooking a new 4.0 build with more performance and RASTAR streaming updates for a possible EPTU publish later today

Wakapedia-CIG:

Today’s EPTU release goal will have a new Mesh Configuration: 3:3:500 (3 Servers in Stanton, 3 Servers in Pyro, 500 players total on the mesh) if this proves unstable we will lower the total count but should be better than previous builds

The rastar streaming update yesterday had a noticeable improvement on that side. Today’s build will update that even further

Regarding the format: it was Systems:DGS per System: Players.

We’ve updated it and my message has exactly what it will be

Mesh Configuration: 3(stanton):3(Pyro):500 (3 Servers in Stanton, 3 Servers in Pyro, 500 players total on the mesh)
