On 25th May 2023, CIG released a Star Citizen storm warning video, where they discussed fun ground vehicles. They specifically looked at the history of the VIP Rover, highlighting its increased glass, gloss, TV screens and moving seats.
They moved on to discuss the ‘Tumbril’ Storm, a light tank concept with ballistic ammo, external storage, quad tracks and improved mobility. It is currently in a grey box version, that is reminiscent of the hover tank from Cyberpunk.
The video concluded by inviting viewers to fly safely and experience the world in the game. It was an insightful introduction to the content CIG have built in the world of Star Citizen and viewers were thanked for their time.
